Should you wish to stand barefoot in the sand, gracefully ensconced
in a tropical garden, or on the deck of your own privately chartered
boat, As You Wish Weddings and Events can help you find
the perfect location for your very special day.
As You Wish Weddings and Events designs ceremonies for
people that can be celebrated at select Florida Keys locations including
State Parks, beaches, aboard boats and at selected hotels and restaurants.
We suggest going barefoot (a true Key West tradition), but a more
dramatic affair can always be arranged.
One of the most popular reasons to come to
Key West is to enjoy our white sand beaches and our spectacular
sunsets. Imagine yourself standing barefoot beside your betrothed,
surrounded by friends and family, as the sunsets into the beautiful
azure waters of the Gulf of Mexico. If you really concentrate – you
can even hear its sizzle as it hits the water.
Tropical breezes waft by as you look into each
others eyes and vow to spend eternity together. You can stand barefoot
in the surf, stroll along the beach or have a more private ceremony
with a gazebo, awning or tent. During the day, or at sunset; with
friends and family or as your own private getaway, it's your day
- you get to choose. Everything and anything is available through As
You Wish Weddings and Events all
to make your day perfect!
For those who are more adventurous you may choose to have your
ceremony offshore on a privately chartered yacht, either power
or sail. While you cruise along the coast you can enjoy the smell
of the salt sea air, the tropical winds and enjoy the warm sunshine
the Florida Keys are so famous for. You can relax on your own private
sunset sail, as the skies vivid colors surround you while you exchange
your vows, and you hold your on-board reception under the stars.
It can all be there for you, As You Wish. Vessels from 36' to 120'
are available for parties of up to 125.
Your special day will go down in history, so why
not consider a venue with equal historical significance. Key West
has many famous historical sites, most of which are available for
your special day. You can choose from such diverse locations as
The Lighthouse, Fort Zachary Taylor State Park, and many of the
Key West's cultural and historical museums. And don't overlook
the more famous homes of Key West’s past and present residents,
including the Truman summer White House, the Hemingway House, The
Robert Frost Cottage and many others. All will welcome you for
your day of celebration.
Key West and the neighboring keys have several botanical and cultural garden settings. You can chose from such locales as the Audubon House and Gardens, the Martello Towers, the Lighthouse, the Hemingway garden and the Forrester Secret Garden all of which have been showcased on Home and Garden TV and other travel specials.
If you would like something a bit more private, with extra services and a large reception, we can arrange for your wedding to take place at one of many Key West resorts.
